Experienced Professionals From The Top DownCheryl KarpmanCEOCheryl has a lifetime of experience with brand services beginning with spot broadcast in radio and television at McCann Erickson. Subsequently she rose to Vice President of local broadcast at Jordan, Case and McGrath. She managed diversified clients, conducted focus groups, media purchasing, and budgeting. After fulfilling family obligations, Cheryl joined Metropolitan Market Research Services, Inc., as Head of Operations. MMRS was a full service telephone interviewing agency owned by Jacqueline Berland. Cheryl was responsible for overseeing all business aspects of the company and worked closely with the owner. Upon the passing of Mrs. Berland, Cheryl became the CEO of MISI. She holds a BA degree in Sociology from Farleigh Dickinson University. Allan BaerExecutive PresidentHaving conducted more than 2,000 research studies for over 50 corporate clients, Allan is experienced in a broad spectrum of experimental research designs and techniques, including concept tests, commercial communications tests, product attitude and usage studies, media testing, and national tracking. His extensive product experience involves household cleaners, men's and women's health beauty aids, laundry products, insecticides, baby products, foods, home improvement products, and financial products. As a manager, Allan has directed studies for new and improved products, cost reductions, and brand name and logo changes. Allan joined MISI at its inception, and is a member of the American Marketing Association. He holds an MBA degree from Bernard M. Judith HaberfeldPresidentJudith's extensive market research experience includes DTC campaigns, national tracking, attitude and usage studies, brand essence, and corporate image studies. Highly skilled at directing large scale studies, Judith has supervised a wide spectrum of conjoint, segmentation and other multivariate studies in health care, pharmaceuticals, computers, communications, personal care, alcoholic beverages, and household products. Prior to joining MISI in 1977, Judith was Assistant Research Director at Carter-Wallace Inc. She is a graduate of Vassar College and pursued her graduate studies at Columbia University's Graduate School of Sociology. Judith is a member of the American Marketing Association.
